  1. Find an example of an advertisement. It could be an image, or a video, and could be for anything—a product, to support a politician, etc.. For that example, indicate whether pathos, ethos, and/or logos are used to persuade you to buy the product.

This is a facial cleanser commercial from Neutrogena. First view of the commercial, Pathos is used to persuade me strongly looking into this product. A clear blue background is used, with the model smiling with a fresh, radiant face. the water drops sprayed on the background gives a hydrating sensation. the whole theme of the commercial is pure, soothing and clean, giving the shopper a great emotional/ imaginative impact that the product is great about cleaning and hydration. Also, listing out the fact as sensitive skin friendly, fragrance free, and with hyaluronic acid, which is ideal for locking in moisture, given the customer reasons and facts to purchase the product, here Logos is effectively used.

2. For one of the cases under the “Cases” folder for the Module VI readings, read the case, write a correct legal citation for it, and state (one or two sentences) why it is important for a surveyor trying to determine the boundaries of a parcel of land.

It’s important for surveyor to determine the boundaries is that property owners may not be educated to with the land administration system or unclear about their own property boundaries, nor knowing how to protect their property right correctly. by performing it through a professional, these issues can be resolved clearly.
